About Spring Branch, TX - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Spring Branch is a small city positioned in central Texas. It is part of the San Antonio Metropolitan Area and is located about 30 miles north of downtown San Antonio. Spring Branch was not incorporated as a city until 2015 when residents of the rural community moved to incorporate to protect themselves from being annexed by neighboring Bulverde, Texas.

Spring Branch is located on a site that was settled by the D. Knibbe family in 1852. The settlement of Spring Branch was named for a nearby spring that flowed into the Guadalupe River. The first post office in the community was located in the home of a resident and operated until the outbreak of the Civil War. After the war ended, service was re-established in 1867 and operated until 1986. Throughout the early part of the 20th century, it was estimated that about 25 people lived in Spring Branch. In the 1990s the estimate grew to about 200 and in 2015, when the city was incorporated, the estimate grew to 250.

Weather in Spring Branch varies greatly each season. The city is located in a climate that experiences very warm summers and mild winters. Throughout the months of June, July, and August, daytime temperatures range from the low to mid-90s on average. When heat waves pass through the city, it is not uncommon for temperatures to climb to the 100s. Residents of Spring Branch find it necessary to hire professional HVAC technicians to install cooling systems in their homes. When temperatures rise, these systems can literally be lifesavers. Residents also find it necessary to have heating systems such as furnaces installed in their homes. Temperatures will dip below freezing at night and very light snow is possible. These systems help residents ensure they remain comfortable and protected in their homes when temperatures turn cool.
