Hill Country Village is a small city located in Texas. It is positioned in Bexar County, which is located in the central region of the state. At the time of the 2010 census, there were approximately 1,082 people living in Hill Country Village. It is one of the smallest cities in Bexar County.

Before Hill Country Village was incorporated, the site where the city sits was a hog farm owned by Clyde Stevens. Stevens operated the hog farm until Meliff, Todd, and Hill Country Water Works, residential developers, began the construction of Village Estates. This development was the first of its kind located in north San Antonio. In 1954, the Hill Country Village Association was organized by William Roten. Community members decided to incorporate the community the same year and established a council form of government. Since its incorporation, Hill Country Village has grown significantly. Many individuals are attracted to the community because it is located near US-281. This highway provides easy access to downtown San Antonio, one of the largest cities in Texas. There are many attractions located in San Antonio that provide Hill Country Village residents endless entertainment opportunities.
