Cibolo is a large city located in central Texas. It is positioned in Bexar and Guadalupe counties. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, there were about 28,000 people living in Cibolo in 2016. Like many Texas cities, original inhabitants of the site where Cibolo is located were Native American Indians. Eventually, German settlers arrived in the area and then the Southern Pacific Railroad laid tracks through the city. The construction of the railroad paved the way for Cibolo to incorporate as a city in the 1960s.
